It looks like everyone is getting ready for TC23 and there were no new articles this week and not many updates. Server ATR Activated Product Key Cannot be Deactivated

When trying to deactivate a license activated by the ATR service on Tableau Server, the following message appears:
"This product key cannot be deactivated because it is managed by the activation service."
Tableau Server Unexpectedly Unlicensed on Linux When Not Using ATR Activation

Tableau Server can become unexpectedly unlicensed when
not
installed with the ATR activation service but when using the legacy Flexera activation method. The unlicensed state can occur randomly or when there is a reboot of the VM or hardware. The error is often shown in the logs as follows:
