Although the gateway is isn't running, there is an existing httpd.pid in one of the following locations.
Linux: Look for a file httpd.pid in /var/opt/tableau/tableau_server/data/tabsvc/logs/httpd/
Windows: Look for a file httpd.pid in C:\ProgramData\Tableau\Tableau Server\data\tabsvc\logs\httpd
